I felt this book was an interesting example. They are all about the feelings and people you may find yourself introduced to when you’re starting a new school. The situations seemed realistic for a sixth grader. This one seemed even more interesting to me because it’s about something that we’ve all gone through. I have always loved 'choose your own adventure' books and I’ve looked for them a lot. Find out what type of person you’ll be in sixth grade with Surviving Middle School by Dave McGrail. You’ll also be able to decide what you would do. In this 'choose your own book,' you’ll be able to see some of the choices that you just might be faced with. Unfortunately, the choices you make in middle school will follow you for a long time and that makes it difficult to know what choices to make. There’s a lot that changes when you go from elementary school to middle school and that’s part of the reason it scares so many people. Starting middle school is something completely new.
